The 2026 Lambert ANN SONIC NICO Workshop, Reimagining Human-Centered Computing Research in the Age of AI, is the 12th in the ANN SONIC workshop series, co-hosted by SONIC at Northwestern University and the Annenberg Networks Network at USC. Taking place May 12-14, 2026 on Northwestern's Evanston campus, this gathering brings together approximately 40 leading researchers and practitioners from computer science, AI, and the social sciences to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming human-centered computing research, identify emerging research opportunities, and forge new collaborations across disciplinary boundaries.
