NICO students win NetSci 2012 awards

Northwestern PhD student Olivia Woolley-Meza, who works with NICO's Dirk Brockmann, won the Best Student Talk Award at NetSci 2012 for her presentation on "A little knowledge isn't so dangerous after all: Global information reduces the efficacy of voluntary vaccination." The poster on "Quantifying the predictability of epidemics," by Isaac Velando and Daniel Grady, current and former students of Dirk Brockmann, respectively, won the NetSci 2012 Best Poster Award.
